There are many qualities that factor in to making a good REALTOR®. Some of the most important are helpfulness, accessibility, knowledge and experience, and education.

Helpfulness

Angie went into real estate for the sole purpose of helping people. After she bought her house, she thought that no one should have to experience what she went through. She knew she could do a better job than the agents involved because to her, it was not a business transaction; it was what someone would call home. John purchased a home in 1999 and had a negative experience of his own. He began to research the home buying process and realized that a lot of information had not been explained very well which hindered his ability to make a well informed choice. With this in mind, John and Angie set out to help people first and foremost, knowing that if they accomplished this primary goal, the success of a profitable business would soon follow.

Accessibility

The team concept allows for accessibility; you will always receive a prompt response. Oftentimes, we are on the phone until at least ten at night and during difficult circumstances will be sending e-mails at midnight. We don’t mention this to toot our own horn, but to demonstrate how seriously we take the concerns and issues of our clients. We treat your problems the same as if they were our problems. Besides a sincere level of dedication, with two agents working for you, even when one is occupied, odds are good that the other will be available.

Knowledge and Experience

Ultimately, you will have to be the judge of that. However, we do have a very long list of references that will be provided to you. Any of them would be more than happy to expound on our level of professionalism and expertise. As an example, last year we called one of our clients who had bought a house two years prior. We told them that they needed to refinance now because in looking at their neighborhood, homes had appreciated to the point that they could refinance with enough equity to now avoid the PMI which brought their payments down considerably.

Of the 1.2 million real estate agents in the country, only a small portion are truly committed to consistently improving their level of service and improving the foundation on which their business is built. Buffini & Company is one of the most highly regarded coaching and training companies in the industry. We at Bowen Brazell & Associates are so dedicated in what we do, that we are among the minority of only 6,000 agents nationwide (less than a half percent) that use the full compliment of Buffini & Company services. Not only do we listen and search for good ideas, but we take action on those ideas to better serve our clients as well as our business.

Bowen Brazell & Associates is a full-time, full-service real estate company. Many agents in the industry are part-time or are doing the job for discretionary income. We, at Bowen Brazell & Associates are professional REALTORS® performing the job as part of our livelihood. Some agents talk about their years of experience. We talk about the number of successful transactions and number of satisfied customers we have every year. For the past three years, we have averaged over 40 transactions per year and the list of testimonials is at the end of this packet.

Education

Angie has her ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) certification and is also a certified Relocation Specialist allowing her to work with corporate clients being relocated to the area.

John has his ASR (Accredited Seller’s Representative) certification indicating that he has taken extra education classes on selling and pricing homes and how to market them effectively.

The REALTOR® Code of Ethics requires eight hours of education every two years. Most realtors® scramble at the end of the two-year cycle to enroll themselves in and complete their eight hours of training, John and Angie have committed to education in their business model. Real Estate, like other industries, is changing at a rapid pace. In order to remain competitive, it is imperative to keep up with all of the changing trends in real estate and its practices. John and Angie attend at least 16 hours of training each year in order to keep abreast of the changing marketplace.
